Supporting Black Canadian Communities Initiative (SBCCI)

SBCCI was created to help increase the capacity of grassroots not-for-profit organizations serving Black communities in Canada.

SBCCI is aiding black community organizations via:

Provide funding to allow the selected organisations to increase financial support, gain greater organizational stability, and improve their leadership, communication, transparency, and growth.

Support the selected organisations in improving their volume of the work they currently do, thus enhancing the vitality of their sector and building community capacity.

Assist the selected organisations in addressing and finding solutions to provide greater inclusiveness of the diverse Black communities they offer their services to and or work with.

Applications are closed.

Over four years, the SBCCI will support Black community organisations with $1,400,000.

Tropicana Community Services is inviting applications from Black-led not-for-profit organizations from all regions of Canada (excluding the Province of Quebec).
